Teresa Raske recently moved to Sandwich, Illinois from Grand Rapids,
Michigan to pursue an elementary teaching career that will satisfy her love for children and teaching. Along
with being a certified elementary teacher, she is also a horse nut. She enjoys combining her knowledge
of riding and showing horses with her passion and gift for teaching. Teresa has been showing horses since
she was eight-years old. She has competed at all levels, from 4-H to the National Paint Horse circuit,
has trained many horses and given riding lessons to all ages. Teresa has been competitive in English, Western,
Showmanship, Halter, Trail, and Speed events. The love of her life, Billy McGee, now lives in Arizona and
is shown very competitively on the Paint Horse circuit. She believes that there is always that one special
horse in a little girl or boy’s life that teaches patience, commitment, endurance, and how to work hard for the things
you love. Teresa’s goal is to instill these lessons of life in her students and is committed to teaching
you all she knows if you are up to the challenge.
